There are several options for accommodation at IGC
2005 (20--21 May, 2005):
- On-campus accommodation: contact the Conference Centre (most on-campus
accommodation is less than 5 minutes walk from the John Hume Building).
- Glenroyal Hotel (fairly
expensive; 10 minutes walk from John Hume).
- Straffan Court Hotel
(cheaper than Glenroyal but 25 minutes walk from John Hume).
- Moyglare Manor
Hotel (if you really want to live it up during your visit, this is the
place to go; it is a few minutes drive from the John Hume building).
NOTE:
The conference is taking place at the same time as the Irish Open Golf
championship at Carton House Golf Club (just outside Maynooth). Consequently
all local B+Bs are full up at that time. We did not check with the hotels,
but currently there is plenty of available on-campus accommodation. However,
we would advise you to book your accommodation sooner rather than later if
you want to be sure you can stay in Maynooth itself.
