EMS Meeting of Presidents 2018

There are three main options for accommodation at the conference:

Glenroyal Hotel: we recommend this option.
The hotel is 5–10 minutes walk from the University.
We have been able to get a guaranteed rate for 25 rooms, as follows:
- €103.00 B&B per Single Room per night
- €123.00 B&B per Double/Twin Room per night
These rates are available until Friday, 30 March 2018, and apply only to the nights of 13th and 14th April. After 30 March, the rates may go up.
All guests must quote REFERENCE CODE 225164 to avail of these rates. We suggest contacting the hotel directly if you have trouble getting the guaranteed rate (phone: +353-1-629-0909; email: info@glenroyal.ie).
If you intend to stay for nights other than 13th and 14th April, you should phone/email the hotel, mention the reference code, and ask for the best "university rate" (including the guaranteed rates for 13th and 14th if you are staying those nights).
On-campus accommodation: contact the Conference and Accommodation Centre.
We suggest that you read up on the types of rooms that are available before booking:
- Some South Campus rooms (suites and ensuites) are similar to hotel-style accommodation.
- Other South Campus rooms (College Rooms) consist of a private bedroom with washbasin, with shared toilet/shower facilities along each section of corridor.
- North Campus accommodation is likely not available as the academic year will still be ongoing.

Accommodation outside Maynooth e.g. in a hotel in Dublin.
We recommend this option only to those who know Dublin well, or as a last resort. There are public transport connections from Dublin to Maynooth (see here) but, even if you stay very near a bus/train station in central Dublin, you will probably need to leave at least an hour earlier each morning than if you had stayed in Maynooth. To find a hotel in a suitable location, we recommend using "Dublin 1", "Dublin 2", or "Dublin city centre" as the search term, via any of the usual travel search engines. You may wish to contact the organisers if you are unsure whether or not a hotel may be suitable.
