Equations Screencasts

Equations are everywhere in Mathematics and the ability to manipulate and understand them is very important. The screencasts in this section give some background to the equations you encounter on a regular basis. They trace the development of the equations, what they represent and the type of problems that they can be used to solve. The additional resources are selected from MathCentre and these contain more detail on how to solve many of these equations and the rules for manipulating the symbols.
